Why I stay with intellectual property

The work remains interesting because it remains responsible — someone has built what we are asked to protect.

I stay with IP because it keeps returning me to something concrete: a brand someone relies on, a design someone made, a process someone spent years refining. The law is technical. The stake is human.

Nepal’s framework is still maturing. That can be frustrating. It is also why careful counsel matters. There is room — and need — for advocates who will be exact without becoming ornamental.

I do not practice to perform expertise. I practice to leave clients with rights they can use, explain, and renew without drama. That is enough reason to keep going.
